Saturday was a really sunny day, so my mum said, "Lets go for a walk after breakfast." We were supposed to go to Glenn Ines but it looked like it was going to rain so instead, we biked to the beach .
We parked our bikes by the stairs and went down to the water and played on the rocks. My brothers and I were throwing shells which splashed like rocks in the great blue sea.
When we finished, we rode our bikes back home and had lunch. We had a great day!

Kia Ora Jouan,
ReplyDeleteIt's always a pleasure reading what you do during the weekends! It sounds like so much fun that I can picture everything in my head while reading your writing. Keep up the amazing writing.

Hi Kia Ora Jouan, I am a student at The University of South Alabama, and part of my assignment is to comment on your blog post. Your Saturday sounds way more relaxing then one of mine. Riding bikes to a beach, throwing shells in the sea, that sounds like a good time. I wish I had enough time to do things like that. Enjoy them while you can, and good luck this school year.

Good Monday, Kia Ora Jouan! My name is Mary and I'm a student at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Wow, that was a mouthful, right? Anyway, I, as an aspiring teacher, must learn how to use the computer to the best of my ability. This comment post is part of my learning and it's fun because I can read stories and blog posts by children all around the world. I don't want to sound corny or mushy but your short story made me cry a little bit. It sounds like it was such a lovely day. I live about an hour away from the beach and I was lucky enough to get to go almost every weekend when I was young because my dad is a surfer. But I never got to ride my bike there. It took a lot of time just to pack lunches and drinks for everyone. You guys should go to the beach every time you get the chance because I can tell you really love it! I also want to say that your writing is excellent. I agree with your teacher when she says it is a vivid story. It really keeps a reader interested. You keep up this good work and I'm going to go do some more of my work.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the story,
Mary
